Update for First Draft and Shooting Dates

      

                        When finding and finalising ideas and locations we had problems finding a good room to do the scene where our artist rolls out from under a bed, therefore as a group decision we decided to cut that bit out in order to save time when filming as it just became hassle trying to film at a location. Instead we decided to extend the park scene as there was more area to play around with and in doing so we have more time to make the story clearer and create a star image in one location. So far we have filmed the artist at the park, however we aim to go back and do some more, tight framed close up shots of our artist to create an image and do some scenes with the couple. We also aim to get the last scene when they walk down the road done at the same time as it will be easier because all characters will be present. We also decided that we would change our main actor to Nicky as he will always be present when filming, making it easier and the previous actor had a lot of conmmitments so changing was the best option in order to finish filming.

Test Shoot

               When filming we came across some problems such as framing and lighting, however we did our best to over come them by filming multiple shots and adjusting the lighting in editing. We used this as an opportunity to learn how to use final cut and to edit things such as split screens, as well as make sure our actor was comfortable on camera, knew her lines and looked good. Nicky and I edited and filmed this between us, each putting input into idea’s, some of which we may use in the actual video.
